As Operations Manager at Stieglitz you are responsible for running a smooth operation. You are end responsible for logistics & administration (for which you will be reporting into the external accountant).
The Company:
Stieglitz is an Amsterdam-based fashion brand aspiring women to embrace their inner fire. The core of our business revolves around women empowerment and the representation of the world’s diverse cultural heritage through timeless clothing apparel and accessories.
Celebrating the strong cultures among us, we create bold and eclectic prints through which women are able to radiate their uniqueness and venture their strength and femininity.
Our garments are designed in our Amsterdam studio with production taking place in Portugal, Greece & Turkey. More than 90% of all our products are produced in Europe. We work closely together with family businesses in these countries to ensure the highest quality standards and fair production.

The role
We are looking for an Operations Manager who will be responsible for running a smooth operation in our logistics and administration. You are the primary responsible person for these field when it comes to dealing with logistics, administration and finance. You will also be a key port of call for suppliers, logistical partners and our accountant.
Your role will be very independent and you will only be reporting to our commercial director and our founder Pien.
Operations
- Organise and improve office operations and procedures. We love a proactive mind-set.
- Responsible for our inbound deliveries from suppliers
- Responsible for our outbound deliveries to B2B (individual retailers as well as marketplaces like Zalando) and B2C customers.
- Ensure key clients (platform accounts) have a great customer experience, through regular partner meetings, tracking key indicators (stock levels, returns etc)
- Manage logistics by managing the logistics partner and have regular meetings on how to improve there processes
- Liaise with the accountant for payroll, VAT and regular accounts, ensuring they have all key items in a clear and structured way for their reporting
- Supervise cleaning crew and make sure we have a tidy and organised office space.
Your profile
- You are very organised and structured, enthusiasm is your second nature and you are someone who thrives on getting things done.
- At least 3-5 years of experience ideally at a premium / luxury / lifestyle e-commerce brand in the International fashion industry
- Team player with the right energy and strong personal drive to achieve
- Innovative, flexible, and creative problem-solving skills
- Financial and analytical skills
- Written and spoken fluency in English
- Experience with accounting software Exact, Shopify and a general knowledge of Microsoft Excel are considered an advantage.
