We are looking for someone to join our Kitchen Crew as a Kitchen Steward at Deck!

Deck is Noord’s newest neighbour located at YOTEL Amsterdam on the Tolhuiscanal. Offering the epitome of indoor-outdoor wining and dining, the stylish open-air terrace and restaurant serves up craft beer and cocktails along with a menu full to the brim with mouth-watering street food bites and more. Think craft beer and craft-y cocktails complementing dishes such as Takoyaki Octopus Balls and Sticky Karaage Chicken or Falafel and Bitterballen. Located in one of Amsterdam’s coolest neighbourhoods, Deck is the go-to spot of the summer with a jam-packed calendar of events, pop-ups and DJ sets.
A little about the role:
We are looking for individuals who washscrape, rinse and load dishes and utensils in the dishwasher, wash and sanitize all pans, utensils and dishes, wash, sanitize and maintain the dishwasher, remove dishes and utensils from the dishwasher and organize them as appropriate, empty trash bins regularly, keep work area and kitchen clean by sweeping and mopping as needed, perform additional cleaning tasks as requested, clean food preparation stations and equipment, help with some preparations in the kitchen, cutting, roasting and making dishes on the menu when the cook needs help.
