Introduction to the job
Business Insights & Control (BI&C) is responsible for identifying and developing financial data models that generate business insights and support decision making, by using a combination of cross-sector data sources and applying leading analytics tools and technologies in order to increase business value.
You will provide transparent information to enable and drive effective decision making in achieving our strategic objectives. Part of the Finance 2025 vision of ASML is to transition in the next couple of years from forecasting and budgeting based on historical trend information and run rates, towards predictive modelling that support the budgeting and forecasting processes. We need your help to deliver on this transition.
The role is part of a highly driven global team, working together with different parts of the finance organization as well as with counterparts in the business environment of ASML.

Role and responsibilities

• Manufacturing cost reports and analysis including explanation of results and variances providing business insights
  
• Adding quality and value to information by providing solid analysis (big data analytics) in close collaboration with operations
  
• Translate data analytics into information used for decision making throughout all layers in the organization
  
• High quality forecasting and analysis on movements in manufacturing costs and results.
  
• Pro-actively identify opportunities to improve, standardize and automate processes using best practices in the market and work with data scientists to run projects to realize this
  
• Have a clear view on the available databases and data-analytics groups using our data
  
• Provide proactive support and input to sector/Business Line business controllers
  

Education and experience
Bachelor or Master degree in Finance/Accountancy with experience in a manufacturing environment. We are looking for someone with 4-6 yr working experience in a finance role and extensive knowlegde of SAP.

As Financial Analyst Manufacturing you are part of the global BI&C PD Manufacturing team (team of 17 individuals of which 7 are located in Veldhoven and the rest around the globe supporting manufacturing locations outside the Netherlands). You will be working closely together in a smaller subteam of 2-3 individuals on a day-to-day basis to support our DUV Twinscan Factory.
