We have an exciting opportunity for a pro-active and energetic Analyst to join our ING Corporate Investments (ING CI) team in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. ING CI is responsible for all mezzanine debt, equity and sustainable investments within ING. Responsibilities
In this position you will play a key role in the structuring and execution of complex equity investments and mezzanine debt transactions. Your deliverables in the role will be:

Assessing investment opportunities including (i) evaluation of business models and financial statements, (ii) financial modelling and forecasting, (iii) writing debt / investment proposals and (iv) coordinating internal and external parts of the deal process;

Supporting senior team members in transaction origination and execution;

From day one frequent contact with (prospective) clients, external advisors (e.g. corporate finance/debt advisors, lawyers, consultants) and co-investors as part of transaction execution and portfolio management;

Preparing pitches and presentations, market analyses, financial analyses, internal reporting, shareholder meetings, etc.;

Collaborating with other ING teams, such as Corporate Finance and Sector teams, to create integrated client solutions
How to succeed

An academic degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Science, Business Administration or equivalent

1-3 years’ relevant experience in Private Equity, Venture Capital or Banking (e.g. M&A Project Finance, Acquisition Finance). We also welcome top-tier candidates with other backgrounds such as strategy consulting, business development in PE-backed company, M&A practice in law firm, food & agri technology, sustainability and technology.
