We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional in the field of electrical engineering, particularly someone with a strong background in commissioning and managing large-scale projects. Ideal candidates are proactive problem-solvers with excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in international and intercultural teams. You will be involved in the commissioning of high-voltage equipment in transmission systems, including power transformers and Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS). Your work will encompass a variety of projects that are critical to the development and maintenance of energy infrastructure, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of power distribution systems. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring the successful and timely execution of commissioning projects, directly impacting the operational efficiency and safety of our clients' energy systems. How You’ll Make an Impact
Efficient Planning and Execution: Ensure timely and cost-efficient planning and execution of tests, along with the commissioning of high-voltage equipment in transmission systems, primarily focusing on power transformers and GIS.
Team Coordination: Coordinate with an international team of commissioning engineers, ensuring the sharing of best practices and return of experience.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with legal regulations, including occupational health and safety laws.
Site Management: Oversee a trouble-free construction site process, including monitoring, documentation, and communication of work progress involving suppliers and internal and external partners.
Supervision of Installation & Commissioning: Execute supervision of Installation & Commissioning (I&C) on Siemens Energy HV equipment in accordance with factory protocols and guidance.
Operation of Test Equipment: Operate all site test equipment such as oil filling machines, SF6 handling, and electrical test equipment dedicated to power transformers and circuit breakers in both AIS & GIS systems.
Functional System Testing: Organize Functional System Testing / Site Acceptance Tests (FST/SAT) (preliminary examination HW/SW) at our test areas on site.
Technical Clarifications: Plan and implement technical clarifications with our customers regarding tests and commissioning in coordination with the project management team.
Support Project Management: Assist the project management team in risk and claim management, ensuring quality and occupational safety on the construction site, including non-conformance reporting (NCR).
What You Bring
Educational Background: University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or comparable technical education and training with relevant professional experience (at least 5 years).
Professional Experience: Several years of professional experience in the field of commissioning or commissioning management of large plants (e.g., power plants, switchgear, power distribution systems).
Willingness to Travel: Readiness for worldwide business trips and long-term assignments on construction sites worldwide.
Project Management Knowledge: Basic knowledge in the field of project management.
Language Skills: Good knowledge of English.
Soft Skills: Positive conflict management, decision-making ability, result orientation, motivation, and communication skills in international/intercultural teams.
