Job Description:
Responsibilities
- Under general direction, responsible for best practices and compliance in day-to-day export and import operations.
- Monthly Digital Record Keeping validating against Glosa.
- Validate captured Pedimentos (Annex 24 vs Glosa Data Stage).
- Manages classification database and product classifications related to the Harmonized Tariff System, Schedule B and Export Control Classification Numbers.
- Manage Annex 24 “Bill of Material” loading and Backflush (Consumption) analysis.
- Fixed Asset support in Record Keeping and system controls.
- Provides expert assistance with import and export documentation.
Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Solid understanding of Import and Export Compliance rules and regulation, including, but not limited to the Export Administration Regulations and U.S. Customs Regulations. Strong knowledge in Annex 24 Administration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A strong attention to detail. Cross functional leadership. Excellent time management skills. Proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing in English. Computer proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP applications (SAP a plus).
