What Will You Do? In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:
Optimize cycle times in the molding process, modifying/improving injection parameters and documenting changes in process sheets.
Execute initial runs (ITR) with new and/or repaired molds, establishing the injection parameters required to achieve parts within specification.
Adjustment and improvement of molding processes in general including all auxiliary equipment such as dryers, controllers, feeders, etc.
Channel corrective/preventive actions to prevent/correct damage to molds and machines.
Supervise support groups to achieve shift results
Generate corrective actions for internal rejections from assembly to molding
Guarantee proper handling and performance of injection molds
Achieve the achievement of the goals that are defined to:
Standard hours
Run urgent parts
Order and Cleanliness
Scrap reduction
Operation efficiency
Promote a good work environment inside and outside your department
Develop world-class techniques.
Comply with internal work regulations
Maintain discipline, organization and safety in work areas
Development of the staff in charge
Promote continuous improvement
Payroll review and daily attendance.
Inventory control.
Ensure that your employees comply with the RIT (Internal Labor Regulations).
Optimize production processes in general to achieve performance goals in labor efficiency and scrap machines, PPM.

What Do You Need? To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:
Engineering Degree and (3-5) years related supervisory experience
Molding processes experience
Strong computer skills including all Microsoft Office programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent coaching and communication skills
Ability to track expenses and compile budget reports
Broad knowledge of production planning processes
Strategic planning skills
English
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Understanding of machine controls and instrumentation
Able to deal with complex issues in a fast-paced setting
Shift availability - This is a position that will be rotating every 3 months
