Your Role on Our Team
Milwaukee Tool currently has an opening for a Sr Sourcing Analyst to join our team at Torron, Mexico or Mexico remote. In this role, the Sr. Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for all supplier data-related activities and changes within our ERP systems. The Sr Sourcing Analyst is responsible for supporting the sourcing and procurement functions by analyzing market trends, evaluating suppliers, and optimizing procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and high-quality purchasing decisions, RFI/RFQ, TCO. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
This Sr. Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for supporting all of hand tools BU. This coverage will include, but is not limited to, insourced and outsourced layout, PPE, storage. This individual will collaborate with the team to identify new cost savings as well as cash flow improvement opportunities. The Sr Sourcing Analyst will be responsible for a finished product(s) as well as maintaining internal and external relationships that partner with this product. This Sr Analyst may also be responsible for maintaining reports and/or alignment within the HT team on reports that are due monthly, biweekly, and/or weekly.
You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities:

Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Gather and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Prepare and present reports on sourcing activities, market trends, and supplier performance
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sourcing and procurement
- Complete daily pricing and invoice updates in ERP systems
- Support all system data maintenance activities for the Global Commodity Managers
- Investigate and resolve AP related invoice discrepancies and make appropriate updates in ERPs and approval of the invoices
- Validate supplier payment term and banking information changes starting with the initial set of workflows and any additional follow up required
- Assist with pulling drawings/samples for RFQ’s and sending samples to suppliers for review
- Communicate and work with suppliers on PO delays or delivery issues
- Provide support related to compliance validation

Market Analysis:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential risks
- Competitors import records analysis
- Analyze supplier performance, market conditions, and pricing structures
- Provide insights and recommendations based on market data and analysis

Supplier Evaluation:
- Assess and evaluate potential suppliers through data analysis, and performance reviews
- Develop and maintain supplier scorecards and performance metrics
- Researching new and existing vendors in Mexico in order to support localization efforts throughout the HT BU needs
- Assist in any other assigned duties
The TOOLS you’ll bring with you:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, finance, engineering, or a related field.
- Have 2-4 years sourcing, procurement, or a related field. Experience with data analysis and supplier management is preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Have Basic MS Office skills - Word, Power Point, Outlook
- Have working knowledge of ERP systems (Oracle preferred)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, English Skills
- Detail oriented approach to work with solid organizational skills
- Good problem identification and problem solving skills
- Be a self-starter, able to work independently with minimal supervision
- English as a second language is a must.

- Experience with plastics, metals, castings, molding, machining, and other commodities is a plus.
