JOB SUMMARY To ensure stability by maintaining an optimum standard level of health for all employees and to protect workers inside the company from exposure to hazardous air, chemicals, noise pollution, radiation, heat stress, and ergonomic issues. Fulfill minimum requirements for establishing programs to achieve SABIC requirements.
How You Can Be the Impact
Provide a response to injury incidents, health, and emergency scenarios.
Ensure that site employees are placed in jobs according to their appropriate physical and mental abilities.
Provide management with trend analysis, advice, and act on programs to improve & maintain a healthy status.
Ensure swift diagnosis and treatment for injuries and illnesses.
Monitor chronic disease progression.
Provide assurance that employee medical checkups are performed with appropriate follow-up as required.
Ensure all applicable regulatory requirements are implemented.
Implement chemical exposure monitoring program.
Conduct health and chemical risk assessments to ensure employee protection.
Ensure all hazardous chemicals used and produced, including stored chemicals inventory, are in line with SABIC standards.
Conduct various field audits, including company cafeterias.
Implement and monitor a noise protection program.
Ensure all related activities defined in SABIC standards are carried out.
Manage all aspects of the company clinic, ensuring adequate labor and equipment.
Identify and evaluate health hazards at the workplace.
What Matters to SABIC
Medical doctor degree.
At least 5 years of experience in occupational health.
Experience managing industrial hygiene programs.
Proven interpersonal and collaborative skills.
Attentive to details & work with passion/ Enthusiasm
Able to at least understand written English.
