To enable our business to expand our lead in a market increasingly enhanced by technology, Chubb is undertaking a substantial technology transformation. We are seeking a talented Information Technology professional to join the Personal Risk Services (PRS) in a senior engineering position. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of robust and scalable web applications, utilizing your expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and implement innovative solutions that enhance the overall user experience for our business and agency partners. We're looking for a talented individual who is passionate about technology, building and maintaining quality systems with software implementation best practices.
This position's location is in San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon, or in Mexico City, Mexico, will be worked a Hybrid Work From Home scheme (3 days at the office).

Key Responsibilities
- Developing front-end web apps using Angular, HTML, and CSS.
- Building and maintaining back-end capabilities using Java / Spring Boot.
- Experienced in Azure solutions, such as Azure SQL Server, Azure Blob, API Management, Cosmos DB and AKS.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient and effective application development.
- Troubleshooting and debugging web applications to ensure optimal performance and functionality.
- Lead the rapid development iterations of feature level assignments.
- Mentor Junior Engineers
Requirements
Key Behaviors and Competencies
- 8 years of experience as hands-on full stack software engineer with prior experience in Azure Cloud Platform
- Hands-on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring boot, Cosmos, Mongo, Angular/React and Azure services.
- Experience in development of REST based APIs using Open API specification and/or creating specifications w/swagger.
- Experience delivering code to CI/CD enabled repositories
- Cloud experience in configuring Dev Ops, continuous integration, and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Perform complex troubleshooting of critical problem tickets, resolving defects in existing production software and provide root-cause analysis.
- Hands-on experience working with code quality and code coverage tools/frameworks.
- Understanding of how to secure webapps and APIs using Open ID/OAuth2.0 standards.
- Experience with deploying solutions to Kubernetes and/or Docker containers a plus
- Hands-on experience with node Js and Type Script is a plus
- Experience in caching technologies like Redis and search is a plus
- Experience with or exposure to AI/Gen AI is a plus Excellent written/verbal skills and demonstrated ability to meet commitments under pressure.
