We are looking for a SITE CUSTOMER QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER talent, to join our specialized CUMMINS team for our QUALITY department in SALTILLO, COA, MEXICO.
RESPONSIBILITIES
In this position you will have an impact by:

Facilitating or participating in developing understanding of customer expectations and requirements for site quality.
Using customer-centric metrics to prioritize quality issues and requirements.
Acting as a contact at the customer site level.
Managing systems related to plant customer issues such as corrective action requests and nonconforming material reports.
Leading containment activities and supporting continuous quality improvement activities.
Ensuring product and process development meets quality standards and customer-specific requirements.
Supporting problem identification, prioritization of measures, and leading Six Sigma or continuous improvement projects.
Supporting or leading change management activities, quality audits and be a quality technical resource for other functional areas.
Supporting process update to Quality 4.0 principles and secure launch initiatives through Value Pack Introduction (VPI).
Applying automotive industry action group (AIAG) tools in less complex situations.

QUALIFICATIONS
To be successful in this position, you will need:

Bachelor’s Degree/Engineering or related to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics),
At least 1 years of experience in automotive industry.
Advanced English and Spanish.
Knowledge of systems and diesel engines. (desirable).
