Job Summary
Apply and assure compliance with current Acuity Brands Quality Systems. Understanding as Quality System all actions needed to the Product and Process meet and exceed Customer expectations specs.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Implement Quality Plan in the FF (Define product quality criteria and quality procedures)
- Daily support to the FF area assigned in Quality and Product activities
- Follow up Customer Claim, and do teardown analysis. Develop RCCM for internal and external claims and track their effectiveness.
- Material and Product Deviation authorization
- Leading new product and new options introductions in his/her Focus Factory.
- Work with Process Eng to develop PFMEA
- Assure Routings, BOM set-ups and Maintenance in Oracle
- Assure accurate Mfg and Purchse Component codification
- ECO's coordination (Approval and Implementation)
- Support BOM creation process, assuring accurate BOMs
- To Provide Accurate Drawing and Product Documentation (Wiring Diagrams (+DA's') Special Assembly and Inspection Instructions) and Specifications (CTQs, CTPs, criteria acceptance and rejection) along with Accurate BOM’s
- Supply Quality KPI's results to the FF team
- Technical Trainning support to the Quality Auditors
- Support FF Manager to UL, CSA, NSF and NOM compliance
- Communicate Quality issues/Claim to Internal Supplier/Customer
- Analyze and response of Customer Claims.
- Create ECR for product change
- DFMEA team member
- Strong communication with Post Sales and Warranty Team
- Responsible for Supply Chain PDS activities (All Phases)
- Identify process and product improvements.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- BS on Engineering field Electronical, Mechanical, Industrial, or similar
- 3-5 years of experience as a Quality Engineer or related position
