Currently we are looking for our next: Quality Analyst, Sabritas based in Celaya Guanajuato
The Opportunity:
Ensure that the Quality Management and Food Safety Policy is adhered to within the areas of material reception, production, and packaging for the Gamesa and Sabritas.
Verify the implementation of quality and safety procedures and regulations related to raw materials, processes, and finished products.
Your Impact as a Quality Facilitator:
In this role, you will ensure product quality and safety through comprehensive oversight of specifications, adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and management of non-conforming products. You will conduct audits, oversee product sampling and approvals, and uphold standards for export certifications. Your role involves:
- Quality Assurance: Verify and maintain up-to-date product specifications, conduct internal audits, and enforce compliance with quality and safety standards (e.g., ICLP, ICL/ICM, CEP).
- Training & Development: Develop and implement training programs for key personnel to ensure adherence to Quality and Sanitation Systems, and maintain a culture of quality within the plant.
- EHS Leadership: Promote a positive Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) culture, monitor and address EHS risks, conduct regular inspections and audits, and ensure team compliance with all safety protocols.
- Product Integrity: Standardize evaluation criteria, develop strategies to reduce complaints, and certify products for export, ensuring reliable products reach consumers.
- Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with R&D to establish quality assurance for new products, maintaining alignment with product design and customer satisfaction.
As a key authority, you will have the power to enforce food safety, halt unsafe practices, authorize product release, and conduct trainings, driving a culture of safety and quality across all operations
Qualifications:
What are we looking for
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proficient in English (minimum 70%).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, HACCP principles, and food processing techniques.
- Strong team player with effective communication skills.
- Proactive, responsible, and eager to learn.
