We are searching for the best talent for PRINCIPAL ATTACHMENT ESPECIALIST to be in Cd. Juarez, in plant Independencia.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Provides attachment support to engineering development/validation activities.
  • Provides attachment related technical support to manufacturing.
  • Supports attachment related defect investigations
  • Actively participate in new attachment technology development

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
  • Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
  • Operates and is thoroughly familiar with manual and automated attachment equipment and process.
  • Support Engineers in the execution of projects.
  • Plans and organizes assignments to ensure completion of projects in a timely manner after receiving minimal instruction as to content and objective of protocol.
  • Inspects and initiates orders for the replacement parts of equipment and tooling. Makes
  • recommendations for modifications, where needed.
  • Capable of replicate failure mode for attachment defective samples if needed.
  • Responsible and capable of determining assignable cause(s) for attachment defective samples (i.e. confirmed and non-confirmed product complaints, finished goods failures, in-process failures) applying PE tools.
  • Track and trend of assignable causes for attachment related defects.
  • Interact with corporate people in the evaluation process and present analysis based on data from Juarez.
  • Provide feedback from the attachment related complaint evaluations to the production facilitator and associates to prevent defects
  • Prepares experimental samples, coordinates their assembly and testing. Organizes and interprets the data and prepares or assists in the preparation of reports.
  • Suggests techniques that might be utilized to solve specific problems encountered in research or developmental projects.
  • Recognizes and reports to supervisor any unique findings regarding proceeding and/or test results and suggests techniques that might be utilized to improve upon or overcome specific deficiencies.
  • Maintains records, reports, and documents of experiments for reference.
  • Analyzes, summarizes and gives recommendations on data from all experiments and evaluations conducted. Prepares summaries or results for use by supervisory personnel.
  • Attends scheduled meetings with internal and external business partners, both onsite as well as at various locations requiring travel.
  • Executes short form and regular protocols for experimentation purposes.
  • Communicates with internal and external business partners on progress of complaints and/or projects.
  • Train associates on new assembly techniques or components designs.
  • Ensure effective use of engineering and quality systems and adherence to quality system regulations (QSR).
  • Ensure compliance to the quality policy in all activities.
  • Support and promote the safety and industrial hygiene objective of the plant. o Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
  • Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
  • For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed


Qualifications
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
  • A minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficient in English (Preferred)
  • Kaizen certification (Preferred)
  • 6 Sigma Orange Belt certification (Preferred)
  • From 6 to 8 years of experience or equivalent knowledge and skills,
  • necessary to satisfactory perform the position responsibilities.
  • Or at least 50%-year completion at University,
  • College or Technical Institution completed (Preferred.)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS
  • Inventory management.
  • Requires ability to understand and use drawings, specifications and interpretation of reports, forms, records, and comparable data.
  • Basic understanding and application of statistics
  • Competent PC literacy
  • Position requires excellent communication skills plus the ability to function in a team-based manufacturing environment.
  • At least 50% Technical English required (Spoken and written).
