Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications. The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Role Purpose
Support Company's safety/health system; support the Doctor's activities work in the medical admission process as well as health and medical need for all the employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the doctor's work in all medical situations, such as accidents, preventing and treating common or occupational diseases.
- Take charge of the pre-medical examination process for new employees and regular medical checkups for existing employees.
- Be able to perform medical surveillance examinations for employees exposed to occupational risks in accordance with corporate and Mexican legislation.
- Participate in meetings with employees for health communications.
- Be able to deploy and maintain preventive health programs on site.
- Be able to maintain control of medications, safety equipment and administer medications and primary consultations to employees.
- Perform all administrative work related to disability control and IMSS ST forms.
- Support the Doctor with the implementation of health campaigns on site and assigned shifts.
Experiences/Education - Required
- Bachelor Nurse Degree
- Occupational safety – Maquiladora Industry (working in other Manufacturing companies)
Experiences/Education - Desired
- Health Government institutions
- Private Local Hospitals
- Excellent presentation.
- Ability to interact with all type of personnel.
- Able to understand Basic English desirable.

Contribute and participate in Internal and External Audits in department, as well as being responsible for the good results of such.
- Some examples of Audits are: Corporate safety, Corporate 24/7 programs, ISO14001, TL, 5's, Safety, among others.
