Summary: The Sr Specialist of Training and Development plans, designs, develops, evaluates and sustains OCM projects and deliverables for Hershey’s HBP environment, including training and communication development. Candidates must have a strong ability to communicate effectively with employees and subject matter experts (SMEs) at all levels of the organization, show a strong understanding of needs analysis techniques, adult learning theory, and effective learning solutions. This role will be required to develop media-rich learning solutions, including e Learning, videos, slide decks, websites, job aids, e-mails and other multi-media learning deliverables using a variety of tools. This role will need to organize, prioritize and execute multiple projects at once. As a global organization within The Hershey Company, candidates must be comfortable communicating with people from around the world, using technology such as Microsoft Teams and other similar tools.
Key Responsabilities for this role:
Design and Implement Training Programs: Develop comprehensive training programs that align with organizational goals and address employee development needs.
Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Assess the impact of training programs through feedback, performance metrics, and continuous improvement strategies.
Manage Training Projects: Oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of training initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
Enhanced Employee Skills: Deliver measured, improved employee performance and productivity through effective training programs.
Efficient Training Processes: Deliver streamlined and efficient training processes that meet the evolving needs of the business.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Adult Learning, Human Resources, Education or equivalent degree Fluency in English and Spanish.
Experience:
3-5 years experience in OCM, training, adult learning, communications or other related experience
Advanced English skills in both speaking and writing
Experience with one or more e Learning/CBT creation tools (Articulate Storyline, Rise and 360 preffered)
Experience with multi-media creation software to create multimedia objects such as videos, images and edit audio (Adobe Suite preffered)
Willingness to learn new tools and technology on the job
Knowledge of OCM and adult learning principles
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 tools and capabilities, especially Power Point
Proven ability to establish collaborative relationships business partners
Proven ability to provide clear, concise communication, with excellent oral or written communication skills
Self-starter able to make progress with little direction
A portfolio of multimedia, training and/or communications deliverables must be provided. At least 1 material must be English language.
Experience working with learning management systems (LMS) a plus
