Job Description:

Assist the Segment Controller as well as the Sr. Cost accountant with cost accounting activities regarding standard costing, variance analysis, inventories, month end close activities, establishing standards, productivity and efficiency reporting.

Main responsibilities:

Helping the Development and maintaining standard costs.

Performing monthly closing activities, including preparation of manufacturing variances along with supporting analysis.

Proactively analyzing variances and communicating issues and opportunities to team

Developing metrics including productivity and efficiency as well as tracking system for major cost drivers.

Participating in profitability analysis in regard to quoting and costing.

Analyzing cost expenditures related to the manufacturing processes in the facility.

Producing detailed cost reports and analyses in support of operations and sales.

Sox Compliance

Assist in Physical Inventory and Cycle Count Activities

Other related analysis and activities as assigned.

Requirements & skills:

3 + years in a similar position.
