Job Description
Responsibilities include:
Apply project management standard practices to successfully lead the project team to achieve high quality program launches, by creating & maintaining project schedules, budget, and follow-up action items to meet customer milestones.
Manage all product development activities including part and documentation deliveries, creation, and revision of bills of materials, validation and build planning, risk mitigation, launch assurance and problem resolution.
Serve as primary point of communication for your projects.
Document and deliver regular project status reports to program management and maintain all project data archives per established internal protocols.
Manage other internal or customer-related projects as needed
Requirements:
BS in Electrical, Industrial, Software or Mechanical Engineering.
5 - 8 years of experience of which 4 or 5 of them are working as project manager, Product Engineer or New Product Introduction Engineer leading multi-disciplinary technical teams.
Ability to lead technical discussions with engineers and effectively communicate information to technical and non-technical stakeholders in English is required.
Strong communication, planning, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Experience in developing products for high volume manufacturing.
Experience in working with a global team a strong plus.
Experience with Project Management software and tools is required (Microsoft Project, Jira, Slack, etc.) is a plus.
Experience with Product Lifecycle Management Software (Windchill, SAP) is a plus.
Automotive electronics experience is a plus.
PMI/PMP formal training or certification is a plus
