Job Description Summary

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

• As Electronic design and verification Intern in the Defense and Systems Power team, you will work within different hardware and software development and verification projects developing and verifying electronic circuit boards and embedded software. Other activities may be the development of utilities and scripts in both high-level and low-level programming languages like Python and C.
• You will also contribute with researching and developing new technologies, interacting with global engineer in the development of circuit boards, and applying electronics basic concepts in the development of prototype software.
  

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor student in last 4 semesters (Computer Science/Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Mechatronics).
• Solid knowledge on the operation of the basic passive (Resistors, capacitors and inductors) and active (diodes, transistors, Op Amps, ADCs, etc.) electronic components.
• Proven experience developing electronic circuit card design.
• Proven programming experience in embedded Software.
• Experience using Altium for component library creation, schematic capture and board layout.
• Hands-on experience using electrical lab equipment such us AC & DC power supplies, multimeter, waveform generators, oscilloscope and soldering of PCBs.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Willing to learn new tools and new fields.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to identify and implement automation opportunities.

Desired Characteristics

• Knowledge of software engineering practices & processes for Embedded Software life cycle, including Code Standards, configuration management, build processes and testing.
• Knowledge with Spice based simulators (LTSpice preferred).
• Experience using the Electronics Desktop simulation tool from ANSYS.
• Experience with Agile SCRUM Methodology.
