Job Summary

The Data Business Analyst plays a pivotal role in analyzing business data to extract meaningful insights, enhance decision-making, and support strategic initiatives. This position requires a blend of business acumen and analytical expertise, with a strong foundation in data handling and reporting techniques. They collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify key business questions, define metrics, and develop reports that provide actionable insights. Unlike a Data Architect, who focuses on designing and managing data architectures and systems for storing and integrating data, the Data Business Analyst focuses on interpreting data to solve specific business problems. This distinction underscores their critical role in bridging the gap between raw data and strategic decision-making, thereby directly contributing to business growth and efficiency.

Job Responsibilities

• Work closely with various business units to gather and define data requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that inform business decisions. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of business functions.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency across sources.
• Recommend system improvements to increase data accessibility and streamline data collection and analysis processes. Facilitate training sessions for non-technical staff on data-related tools and best practices.
• Present findings and insights to stakeholders and executive teams in a clear and compelling manner.

Job Knowledge and Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proven ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Years of Experience:

2+ years of experience in data analysis or business analysis, preferably in the automotive or financial services industry.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Technology, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Language: English - Intermediate. 500 pts TOEIC

Specific Course/Certifications

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, or Power BI
• Experience & Knowledge of some languages like R, Python, Java. Nice to Have: My SQL, Postgre SQL, o Microsoft SQL, Pandas, Num Py, y Scikit-learn, IBM Cognos, AWS Sage Maker
