Cemex is looking for a talented and self-motivated COMMUNITIES OF PRACTICES SR CONSULTANT to join our team. As a Senior Communities of Practice Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, enabling, and mobilizing the best possible community and managing the mobilization of business value replication between regions. Main Responsibilities
Design and lead communities of practice initiatives that drive value and knowledge sharing across business units and regions.
Develop and implement strategies for the replication of business value across regions.
Engage with cross-functional teams to identify and promote best practices that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Partner with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and develop action plans to address them.
Lead the development of training and development programs for communities of practice.
Track and report on progress against goals and KPIs.
Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across the organization.
Manage and mentor junior team members.
Position Challenges
Managing and coordinating initiatives across regions while ensuring alignment among diverse teams and stakeholders.
Relaying and transmitting technical knowledge to non-experts.
Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
Managing and working on multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Adapting strategies quickly to address project dynamics and emerging challenges.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business.
Master's degree in Business or Innovation is preferred.
8+ years of experience on consulting and leading projects execution.
8+ years of experience on leading design, enable, and mobilization offers to customers (internal).
Experience in change management, design thinking, PMO/PM, business process management, service design, communication, and leading communities of practice.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Self-driven, curious, creative, good judgment, abstraction/conceptualization, and resilient.
Proficient in English and Spanish.
Willingness to travel on a regular basis (both domestically and internationally) – up to 50%.
