Job summary:
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Buyer Direct located in Aguascalientes Site.
Reporting to the purchasing supervisor, the buyer direct role has direct incident on the raw material procurement. This position will manage all the packaging that we use for Aguas Site customers. It is a key position to keep the production flow and avoid delays in shipping finish good products to our customers.
What a typical day looks like:
- Weekly purchase orders release to local supplier data base to cover production plans.
- Daily calls and follow up with local suppliers to review deliveries on time.
- Pipeline review to manage stock level with suppliers and identify supply risk.
- Daily follow up to purchasing metrics and weekly revision with purchasing supervisors to review targets, goals, and action plans.
- Follow up to critical deliveries/shortages that can impact production lines.
- Materials status in sunrise meeting with top management.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor’s degree in administrative areas
- Advance English
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Experience in purchasing area (raw materials)
- Work based in results and goals.
- Proactive and sense of urgency
