This role is responsible for technical development and/or functional support for one or more e Trace modules for all Advanced Energy sites. e Trace is the Warehouse and Shopfloor execution system for the EP factories which will be rolled out to other sites and future acquisitions if any. This role will take ownership of technical development and/or functional support of other applications, with the purpose to support manufacturing activities and fulfill business requirement.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Development and Support for e Trace (SOX)
Working closely with business users and stakeholders to understand business requirements and propose technical solution to project manager.
Planning and documenting functional requirement for features and system design.
Designing, building and configuring new function modules in e Trace to meet business process and application requirements.
Work with other team members in the design, development, coding, testing and debugging of applications.
Provide sustaining support to e Trace with enhancement releases and data maintenance adhering to IT Change Management Processes
Standardization, Rollout of e Trace and other related applications to Other sites
Ensure standardization of the e Trace solution across all AE factories. Roll out newly developed module to new manufacturing sites as appropriate.
Work with project manager to peform functional and/or technical assessment of rolling out e Trace to Other AP facilities.
Work with project manager to preparing an execution plan and seamless go live as per the plan with minimal impact to operations, as well as the contingency plan to handle any possible exception.
Coach local application support team to get familiar with e Trace technical details, ensuring timely and effective support after e Trace rollout.
Conduct user training, User Acceptance Testing, Test script, follow ups on tasks and deliverables, understand the process, can work on some system improvents based on the issues encountered in production line, user feedbacks or based on personal assessments.
Team Coaching and Mentoring if needed.
Mentoring junior team members and ensuring they adhere to determined software quality standards.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

EXPERIENCE: Essential: Minimum of three years of experience in Business Systems (WMS, MES) development and/or support is required.
Desirable: Experience of development and support of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
EDUCATION: Essential: Bachelors degree in Computer Information Systems major in in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent education.
Desirable: Education/knowledge of WMS (warehouse management system), MES (manufacturing execution system) and ERP (Enterprise resource planning) system.
