The Business Process Owner for Supply Chain Physical Logistics will play a critical role in managing, standardizing and optimizing finished goods inventory, transportation, warehousing and quality processes in SAP, WMS, TMS, legacy systems and its integrations for Mars logistics network. They have the mission to design and implement best logistics practices to deliver a cost-effective, responsive, customer-focused, and integrated Supply Chain, as well as the KPIs/analytics framework to measure the performance of these processes. Proposes initiatives that optimize our distribution network (warehousing and transportation) for domestic and international trade, assessing route-to-market alternatives to deliver the growth, service, and profitability expected to support the business strategy.
This role involves supporting daily system operations, designing (proposing) and deploying (implementing) tools and ERP enhancements, and leading or participating in key business projects to ensure seamless supply chain execution.
What are we looking for?
Degree in engineering, specialization in supply Chain, ERP, PMP, Stakeholder Management.
Advanced skills in Excel, Power Point, Power BI, SAP.
ERP and systems implementation/improvements experience (SAP preferred).
Project Management experience: proven success in delivering results through multi-functional projects and programs.
Experience on continuous improvement methodologies.
What will be your key responsibilities?
Daily System Support:
Ensure business continuity by monitoring and troubleshooting daily system issues related to physical logistics processes.
Collaborate with IT teams and other stakeholders to resolve system outages and ensure minimal disruption to operations.
Sustains Supply Chain Operational Excellence by leading the key user network to improve business capabilities.
Provide guidance and support to end-users, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge needed to effectively use ERP systems.
Ensures there are no So D (Segregation o duties) for logistics processes by managing SAP roles and accesses for all users in Mexico.
Processes and ERP Enhancements:
Proposing initiatives that optimize our distribution network (warehousing and transportation) for domestic and international trade.
Identify opportunities process wise in the current ways of working.
Identify opportunities for system improvements and propose enhancements to ERP functionalities.
Design and document new processes.
Implement and manage enhancements in the processes and on the ERP.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions and implement.
Test and validate new system features, ensuring they meet business needs and align with overall supply chain strategies.
Project Participation:
Actively work with the market unit to deploy global and local programs and toolkits in the logistics scope, including IT projects with Mars IS.
Lead or participate in key business, providing functional expertise to drive successful outcomes.
Collaborate with project teams to ensure that supply chain processes are optimized, scalable, and aligned with business goals.
Ensure that all project milestones are met on time, within scope, and within budget.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Design, develop and maintain tools for the efficient collection and consolidation of Supply Chain data for logistics processes.
Analyze data related to physical logistics performance and generate reports to support decision-making and improve visibility.
Process Improvement:
Drive best practice and standardization for market unit, using score-carding to provide benchmarking and to stimulate change in the logistics processes scope.
Continuously evaluate, assess and audit processes, identifying inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
