If you are a someone who is interested in working with a multinational, dynamic and engaged global team, then this Sales Operations Analyst role is for you! This exciting role supports the end-to-end process for the US and Canada Life and Health business portfolio. From origination to execution, our team coordinates with multiple functions of the business, like: Sales, Underwriting, Contracts, Actuarial, Valuation, Pricing, Claims, Finance, Business Administration, and IT. The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for providing timely and accurate business-processing as well as administrative and technical support to Market Units and Cross Functional teams, covering Swiss Re's Life and Health business portfolio in North America. Your responsibilities will have a direct impact on productivity, process efficiency, timeliness, profitability, and accuracy of the end-to-end process. The North American reinsurance pricing and new business contracting processes are complex and in turn, rely on the accuracy and completeness of data inputs from a wide array of sources. It is imperative to maintain effective quality assurance. You would be collaborating within a team environment to actively transfer knowledge, coordinate, and act accordingly to regional strategic initiatives and priorities.
About the role
The role will require strong interpersonal skills, as there will be significant interaction with all levels of the functional areas that provide inputs and participate in the origination process. This position serves in many ways as the gatekeeper and control point of process workflow. You must be able to apply common sense and judgment. Must be able to make independent decisions with little to no input from manager.
Strong written skills are required to assist in the documentation of processes as well as control documents. Orientation to detail is valuable, but just as important is the ability to step back and see business and quality processes in a broader context. In addition, a well-developed set of end-user technical competencies is important, as many solutions will rely on the use, control, and integration of our business tools.
Responsibilities

Provide US/CA L&H Client Managers with relevant support for non-client facing activities, including pipeline and KPI reporting and analysis, as well as facilitating interactions between functional experts to ensure controls and guidelines as well as internal and external requirements, quality assurance, and data accuracy guidelines are satisfied.

Responsible for managing the deal lifecycle from Quote to Treaty. This includes accurate and timely data entry into the Life and Health processing systems, which feed numerous downstream business processes including administration, claims, valuation, finance, etc.

Function as Sales Operations Representative at meetings where business and technical processes are discussed, and follow-up on outstanding items as necessary.

Serve as the North American representative for User Acceptance Testing and work closely with the system development teams.

Ensure external & internal audit compliance by following internal L&H guideline processes and organizational Governance and Risk Management.

Participate in L&H training and projects and contribute to process improvements.
About you

Minimum four-year college degree or equivalent experience.

Re/insurance knowledge and experience in the industry; L&H specific knowledge is a plus.

Strong skill sets including systems knowledge of: Excel, Word, Power Point, Power BI, Teams, Outlook.

Highly motivated individual who can think analytically and proactively, along with strong reading comprehension.
