• Oversee accounting operations, reports, control and processes for the Tires companies in Mexico. Assure they are in line with Corporate standard, due dates and policies.
• Ensure that all Accounting comply with International Accounting Standard and National laws.
• Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled on monthly, quarterly and/or annual basis.
• Ensure journal entries are approved and supported by adequate documentation.
• Prepare and review monthly balance sheet and income statement fluctuations.
• Lead projects to review the month end closing processes for improvements in efficiency and controls.
• Communicate changes in accounting processes or large financial impacts to the appropriate Controlling team.
• Coordinate external audit processes and cooperate closely with auditors as required.
• Prepare the annual planning and monthly forecasting process with regards to content, process and timing. Analyses budget and forecast data to ensure integrity and plausibility of all included alternatives.
• Coordinate operational and administrative improvement, automation and process improvement projects in Finance / Controlling in order to optimize the company’s operations.
• Manages and develops department personnel.
• Maintain close contact with Corporate Finance.
• Lead and participate in other special projects as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Financial professional experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• High level of integrity and ethics
• Advanced knowledge of SAP and proprietary modules, such as FIRE.
• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills.
• Management experience.
• English level: advanced.

• Experience in Accounting.
• Experience with SAP – FI, MM and AA Modules.
• CPA Certification.
• Project Management experience.
