JOB DESCRIPTION A quantity surveyor (QS) is a professional in the construction industry and is responsible for managing all costs related to construction projects. Need to primarily estimate and monitor project costs, from the early design to the final construction stages. REQUIREMENTS
Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificate, Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree/Post Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or equivalent.
At least 2 to 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Knowledge in the project tenders, contract conditions, specifications, and design drawings.
JOB RESPONSIBILTIES
Preparation of Bill of Quantity (BOQ) based on tender drawing & Specification includes all works.
Corresponding with Consultants/Authorities regarding the specification/technical and BOQ any difference to tender requirements and raising queries for clarification.
Preparing tenders and cost estimates, and controlling the costs
Attend technical meetings with the contractor and weekly progress meetings if required by the Project Manager.
Ensure full coordination between all other disciplines/Trades has been carried out for all external and internal MEP services.
Preparation of Cost Estimation for CSA Works (Civil, Structure and Architectural) and Pricing, Rate Buildup of Materials, Labor, Plants, and other misc.
Invite the Quotation from Sub Contractor/Supplier, Negotiation and Comparison, and ability to prepare pre-contract & tender activity.
Maintenance and update of Approved Sub Contractor/Supplier database.
