Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage cost estimates on various materials needed for a project
• Reviewing drawing and bills of quantities from appointed consultants
• Prepare legal tender documents, contracts, and variations order in accordance with contractual requirements
• Prepare for site measurement, taking off quantity and source for quotation
• Evaluate sub-contractors bid and analyse costing before recommendation to award jobs to sub-contractors
• Conduct accurate and detailed cost analysis for materials, labour, and equipment
• Prepare submission of progress claims, variation order claims and final accounts on time and ensure work been certified and accurately by client through site evaluation
• Perform regular site visits and measurements to assess progress and validate work quantities
• Attend site evaluation meeting as and when required
• Attend on site BQ verification and quantity checks
• Evaluate subcontractor’s claims and prepare progress payment report
• Any other duties assigned from time to time as requested

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying is required
• Min 2 years of working experience in Pre & Post contract administration
• Proficiency in relevant software : MS Words, Excel and Project & Auto Cad
• Independent, resourceful and able to work under minimal supervision
• Able to work under timeline and able to multi-task
• Applicants should possess good oral and written communications skills

Job Type: Contract
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
