Commis 1 - Tropicana Garden Mall

Job Responsibility
  • Preparing and presenting high-quality dishes within the specialty section.
  • Assisting the Chef De Partie and Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes, and developing dishes.
  • Ensuring all food produced is in line with kitchen standards.
  • Managing and training kitchen staff.
  • Maintaining inventory and ordering supplies.
  • Ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
Job Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Commis 1 or similar role in a high-quality restaurant.
  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Passion for food and hospitality.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
Experience:
  • Commis 1: 1 year (Preferred)
Willingness to travel:
  • 75% (Preferred)
