Manager Data Engineering, ATS Science and Technology
- Experience managing a technical team
- Experience in processing data with a massively parallel technology (such as Redshift, Teradata, Netezza, Spark or Hadoop based big data solution)
- Experience in relational database technology (such as Redshift, Oracle, My SQL or MS SQL)
- Experience in developing and operating large-scale data structures for business intelligence analytics (using ETL/ELT processes)
- Experience communicating to senior management and customers verbally and in writing
- Experience leading and influencing the data or BI strategy of your team or organization
- Experience in at least one modern scripting or programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or Node JS

Key job responsibilities
- Lead a team of data engineers, provide career development and technical leadership
- Design and execute on the vision for data engineering in the network planning space
- Design, implement, and automate deployment of our distributed system for collecting and processing log events from multiple sources
- Design data schema and operate internal data warehouses and SQL/No SQL database systems
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, and dashboards to drive key business decisions
- Monitor and troubleshoot operational or data issues in the data pipelines
- Drive architectural plans and implementation for future data storage, reporting, and analytic solutions

Our team is composed of a wide variety of tech roles including scientists, data engineers and business intelligence engineers.
- Experience with big data technologies such as: Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR
- Experience with AWS Tools and Technologies (Redshift, S3, EC2)
