Maintenance Electrical Technician

We are looking for Maintenace Electrical Technician to join our Mercury Plant in Dudelange.

You will have the opportunity to:

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Electrical technician to join our team at Goodyear Mercury Plant. The Maintenance Electrician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of equipment and machinery to uphold our commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Responsibilities:

Conducting electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance in compliance with safety standards and local regulations.
Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues, using various testing equipment and tools.
Assisting in the development of electrical systems and ensuring their proper functioning.
Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
Drive to zero equipment breakdown by setting a high-quality standard of preventative maintenance.
Diagnose electrical problems, troubleshoot issues, and implement effective solutions.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability of electrical systems.
Participate in spare parts management.
Lead and work together as a team with required outside companies.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities as required.

Requirements:

Technical degree OR significant experience.
Strong knowledge in electrical systems, components, and regulations.
Ability to connect to PLC for diagnostic and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams.
Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime when necessary.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills - combined with the capability to lead and coach co-workers.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
