Headquartered in Luxembourg, Lombard International Assurance S.A. is an insurance carrier specialising in manufacturing unit-linked life insurance solutions. These solutions are distributed by various regulated intermediaries, including private banks, family offices, asset managers, independent wealth and financial advisers, wealth and insurance brokers, professional advisory firms and other advisers active in the private wealth sector.
Distribution Companies
The Group has a number of wholly owned investment and insurance distribution businesses who market and advise on unit-linked life assurance products manufactured by Lombard International Assurance S.A.

Your role – Are you ready for a challenge?
The Financial Reporting Manager is responsible for ensuring that financial and regulatory reporting are completed with high quality and in a timely manner. The role will involve working with different functions internally and directly with the auditors
Your responsibilities will be as follows:
- Responsible for the delivery of all reporting, including standalone and Consolidated annual accounts under Luxembourg GAAP and IFRS, regulatory returns to the CAA, BCL, ACA and other regulatory returns
- Responsible for the review/preparation of monthly IFRS adjustment and IFRS reporting to the Group
- Take the lead on key technical accounting issues and prepare accounting memo addressing non-routine transactions
- Involve in key strategic projects
- Participate actively in the automation of financial systems and reports
- Plan and manage the year-end audit and the interim review and manage any queries from the Auditors
- Supervise and assist in the training and development of staff
Motivate and develop team members to deliver a high level of performance using company performance management practice (tools/process/behaviour) including goal setting, monitoring performance through regular check-ins, performance reviews and development plans
Your profile – Have you got what it takes to become our Financial Reporting Manager?
- Master’s degree in Audit, Accounting, Finance or related field
- Experience of 6-7 years within a similar role in the financial sector. In-house experience within the life-insurance sector would be an advantage;
- Experience in IFRS reporting and consolidation acquired with listed and unlisted industrial or insurance groups,
- Demonstrated capabilities and interests in technical and complex financial accounting matters
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage, prioritise and delegate a busy and diverse workload with a range of deliverables for a variety of stakeholders
- Result-oriented and quality-driven
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolves issues
- Autonomous, adaptable and proactive with a strong team spirit
- Ability to work as a member of a team, supports colleagues and develops good working relationships
- Strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail
Fluency in French and English
