Your Challenge
- Develop, implement and maintain the Risk Management framework for the Man Co/AIFM and the UCITS/AIF including Risk Management systems, processes, policies and procedures
- Ensure that regular risk controls and adequate procedures are in place and complied with for UCITS and AIF, including compliance with risk limits and, as it deemed to be necessary, take remedial actions to cope with breaches and/or deficiencies
- Provide regular risk-relevant reports and presentations to Conducting Officers and the Board of Directors of the Man Co and the funds (limit breaches, remedial actions taken, KPIs on operational issues, Bo D meeting packages)
- Review and support the arrangements and procedures for the valuation of OTC derivatives and illiquid assets including joining the valuation committee
- Gaining exposure to and contribute experience to PE/RE / Infra related topics in terms of Due Diligence, valuation, limit checks, etc.
- Provide project lead respectively participation, also cross-border, in risk management topics (f.e. Risk Management systems, investment restriction monitoring, KPI/KRI and Risk Dashboards specific to PE/RE / Infrastructure funds, improvement of controls report creation)
- Participation and contribution in meetings and committees on senior management level, Bo D, working groups etc.
- Lead, coach, train and develop the risk management team
- Group-wide cooperation and exchange of expertise on risk-related topics with functional management
Your Profile
- With at least 10 years of professional experience in the financial sector and a passion for finance, you have in-depth knowledge of the processes of a fund management company in a dynamic, fast-moving environment. You have acted as a role model for a larger organizational unit for at least 5 years as a manager or member of the management board.
- Ideally, you have experience in ESG-relevant topics and projects
- You have sound knowledge in the areas of risk management and the interrelationship of control functions
- You have excellent communication, presentation and problem-solving skills
- You are characterized by a strongly proactive and independent way of working. You can identify potential for improvement, find target-oriented, first-class solutions and thus contribute directly to the success of the company
- With your positive can-do mentality, you proactively lead, coach and coordinate your team members, you enjoy your work and pass it on to others
- You have successfully managed and implemented large projects with your convincing ideas and agile approach
- You have a very good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Knowledge of VBA and/or SQL is considered as advantage
- Fluency in German and English is mandatory, French is considered as advantage
