The Large Corporate Support Specialist will work in Network Operations, an international environment within a matrix organization made up of teams transversal to all countries and vertical teams.
The candidate main accountabilities are:
Managing the Fixed Core Network Operation team in preventive, incidental and planned activities. Managing the activities in developing of network automation solutions and improve KPIs/SLA indicators in terms of customers satisfaction and network availability. As part of the Fixed Core Network Operation team, collaborate in ensuring top of the class services to Vodafone Customers
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
Operate & Maintain the Fixed Core Network infrastructure.
Manage incidents & problems: full availability
Support the team in reaching the required cyber security targets and deploying automation instruments.
Core competencies, knowledge, and experience
Deep knowledge of Internet & Networking technologies at ISP/Telco level:
o - L3VPN / L2VPN o - BRAS o - CORE IMS / SIP Protocols o - CPE o - MPLS/ISIS/BGP Protocols o - Multicast o - DNS o - Radius Protocol o - IPv4/IPv6
Deep knowledge of Cisco and Huawei routing &switching
Great communication and relationship skills
Customers centric approach
Must have technical / professional qualifications
Certificate/Diploma/bachelor in Engineering/Electronics/Telecommunication.
1 or 2 years experienced in O&M of ISP/Telco IP Transport Network.
Very fluent in English and Italian
Network Automation/DEVOPS Experience; Python knowledge is a plus.
Virtual Machines Environment experience is a plus.
