We are looking for a motivated Hardware Engineer to join our team in Yokneam.

Principle duties and responsibilities
- Responsible for the specification, design, test/integration and release to production of Adtran products.
- Be part of the hardware architecture effort – plan, review, document. Weigh various requirements, costs, complexity, and any other aspect to come up with the bext architecture. Being able to look at the “greater picture” of the entire product, including software, FPGA, customer-usage, etc.
- Bring-up, debug and qualify new products, Debug and solve defects.
- Calculate costs, MTBF.
- Contributes engineering support for products in production and possible transfer of products to other R&D or manufacturing organizations within Adtran.
- Creates of the Hardware Design Specification (HDS).
- HW and Integration test plan (HTR) – Plan, Execute, document.
- Schematic creation, allocation and definition of new component, guidance for PCB placement, PCB layout guidance
- Support of FPGA and SW integration.
- Release of the PCB Assembly and BOM.
- Supervising and working with the mechanical team.
- Engineering support for the assembly and production test.
- Support NPI and testing team.
Qualifications, Skills
- Education: BSE + 2 years relevant experience
- Required technical skills: Analog and Digital HW design. Low noise PCB design.
- Required performance skills: 1 year plus experience in the area of hardware design.
- Schematic entry, Mentor graphics preferred.
- Independent worker, self-learner, good team skills.
