As an iconic brand that has been around for over 200 years, Johnnie Walker remains the undisputed leader within Scotch for the past 20+ years. We’ve gained category share, increased sales and continue increasing our brand health and penetration numbers – but we have much more growth ahead, as we continue driving a seismic behavior change to Scotch and reframe Johnnie Walker as the most vibrant whiskey!
We are seeking an Associate Brand Manager to join the US Johnnie Walker brand team and help lead this brand to its new heights. Status quo will not deliver our ambition – we want someone who thinks differently, takes risks, is bold in action and drives for results. We are looking for a combination of strategy, creative capability, analytical skill, flair and commercial orientation, as well as strong personal passion for the Johnnie Walker purpose to rally belief around this iconic brand.

Key Focus for this Associate brand manager role:
- Provide crucial support to the team with the ability to dive deep into brand and competitor performance analysis, highlighting opportunities and challenges within the industry and providing clear data points with clear articulation to inform the overall brand strategy and market performance understanding.
- Manage a complex brand budget and track spend levels across the trademark
- Manage the On Premise ambassador program to ensure the team of 5 are supported and connected closely with the brand, executing the right events with impact and have clear KPIs and tracking systems in place
- Lead external CRM mailers to ensure projects and campaigns are taken through the line across all touch points
- Support the team with key renovation projects across to ensure executional excellence
- Foster exceptional relationships with cross agency partners and internal partners to ensure Johnnie Walker is top of mind
- This role will also provide the opportunity to work closely across various cultural partnerships, including leading the work with our sport partnerships
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in consumer marketing (preferred)
- MBA and/or agency background and/or CPG or Beverage alcohol experience (preferred)
- Experience and skilled in data and analytics management and understanding trends
- Meticulous with ability to work in fast-paced environment
- Highly skilled relationship builder and influencer
- Ability to demonstrate consumer insight, creativity and flair
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to maintain positive outlook amidst challenges and effectively problem-solve and make decisions
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively, prioritize and drive to action
