Vehicle Mechanic with- HGV experience needed at Droplink
Mechanic with HGV experience needed at Droplinkl Permanent Full-Time Salary will be based on experience.Registered Mechanical Engineer with experience desirable for this role.Droplink Ltd is an Irish based Licenced Hauliers based in Longford Ireland. We are currently looking for a Mechanic to manage and maintain our existing fleet of Trucks and Van. If you are looking for a role which is challenging and very rewarding, this is the role for you.Main Responsibilities:·Manage and update our Maintenance Records in accordance with legislative requirements and Perform routine maintenance Maintain and Service existing Truck & Van fleet, involved in diagnosing, testing and repairing faults using the latest technologies, completing 13 week checks and pre CVRT Checks Assist with day to day vehicle checks and resolve any faults on a daily basis and recorded in writing on the job card and the Vehicle Health Check forms is fully completed Assist in any way with the smooth running of the Company Understanding legal responsibilities in relation to managing IRHA standards Comply with all CPC regulations and standards Maintain workshop, keeping tools and equipment up-to-date organised and safe from hazards to health and safety Requirements:·Qualified Motor Vehicle mechanic with experience in Trucks.Full Clean Driving Licence, all HGV Categories desirable but not required.Experience of working in a team environment Effective thinking and problem solving.Be able to work towards deadlines.Good Communication skills.Able to work independently.Diagnostic equipment experiences desirable but training can be provided.
