Leane’s Fitted Furniture Manufacturing are looking for a Store Person to join our team.
About Leane’s
Leane’s are a SME based in Killarney, Co. Kerry with retail sales outlets in Kerry.
From our Killarney base we service retail customers in Kerry and contract work around the country, all products are manufactured in our 20’000 square foot factory to the highest of standards. We operate a full range of CNC machinery while also utilizing more traditional methods for our bespoke projects.
Job overview
Stock control and organisation of store. Quality and dispatch verification. Stock system implementation.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Organising the store and catalogue new materials in store
• Oversee purchasing and stock control
• Conduct quality checks on incoming orders and report any shortage or damages
• Load delivery trucks and liaise with drivers to organize deliveries
• Ensure full job orders are dispatched to the customer
• Conduct final quality checks on all units being delivered and report any issues
• Ensure that all waste is disposed of in the appropriate waste bin
• System implementation of new stock system in the company
• Generating and coordinating purchase orders
• Liaising with purchasing team about discrepancies, shortages, quality issues
• Assist in cost analysis and budgeting for procurement activities
• Adhere to health and safety procedures at all times

Person Specification

• Good physical fitness is required
• Manual handling
• Computer literacy is essential
• 2 years proven procurement experience is an advantage
• Plan and manage workload
• Ability to multi-task and work efficiently
• Fluent in English, both verbally and written
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
• Well organised, self-motivated person with the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time
Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
