Social Media Content Creator
Sixtwo Digital is a digital marketing agency that helps businesses grow through creative content and highly optimised paid advertising campaigns. We work with multinationals as well as SMEs and we help them generate a return on investment from their digital marketing efforts.
We’re looking for a Social Media Content Creator to produce creative, stylish, engaging and innovated content through video, stills and motion graphics.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Creating videos for a wide range of primarily business-to-consumer clients, but some business-to-business ones too
- Producing videos will be for the main social networks – Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok, Linked In and You Tube
- Developing creative ideas that will result in videos that cause audiences to stop scrolling and begin engaging
- Editing videos that use innovative techniques to make them stand out in a very busy marketplace
- Generating stills and motion graphics that will grab the attention of social media users
- Staying on top of trends to keep our clients’ content fresh
- Writing copy to compliment the creatives that will make people stop and read
- Monitoring performance of client videos, understanding what works and what doesn’t
Skills required:
- Great video editing skills. You need to be a master at Cap Cut, In Shot, Final Cut Camera or other phone video-editing software
- You also need to be able to edit videos using Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere Pro or other desktop video editing software
- Being a social media enthusiast is a must, as you need to be aware of how the various algorithms work
- Canva needs to be second nature to you. Part of this role is creating images and motion graphics that stop people from scrolling.
- Familiarity with other platforms in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, In Design, Illustrator) is a bonus
- Excellent written English. Copy needs to be creative, educational, entertaining and engaging.
- Liaising with clients, discussing ideas with them and showing them various content assets for sign off before publishing
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook)
- Good communication skills. You will be working as part of a team, continually discussing content we produce.
- Planning and strategising is pivotal. Creating social media calendars and sticking to schedules and deadlines will be a day-to-day part of the role.

- 3+ years experience in a similar role
- Applicants will need to be able to share a portfolio showcasing their video shooting and editing skills, as well as stills and motion graphics they have created
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English
- The successful candidate will be required to drive to different clients so access to a car is a must
- Working on weekends is required on occasion
Please note this role is based in Drogheda and is primarily office-based. A hybrid working model is in place.
