Job Title: Social Care Worker – Children’s Residential Care
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Social Care Worker to join our team in providing exceptional care for children in residential care. Pay: Up to €41,000.00 per year

Responsibilities:
- Providing direct care and support to children in residential care.
- Building strong relationships with children, families, and other stakeholders
- Creating a safe and nurturing environment for children
- Encouraging and supporting children to achieve their goals and aspirations
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on each child’s progress
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of care plans
- Ensuring that all policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
- Relevant qualification in social care or equivalent. (Social Care Level 7/8, Level 8 in Psychology Level 7 in Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy, Level 7 in Counselling Professional qualification in: Youth and Community Work Social Work Social Sciences Teaching; Nursing Addiction studies where appropriate)
- Experience working with children in residential care. (Preferential but not essential)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- A commitment to the welfare and protection of children
