Decawave was founded in 2007 and has deployed more than 8 million chipsets in more than 40 different market verticals – from smartphones to drones. Summary:
Qorvo’s Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph D program. Qorvo offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available.
From Jan 2025, a full-time internship position in Wireless Systems Test Engineering is available. The internship is to be based at Qorvo Dublin, which is the company centre for R&D in ultrawideband (UWB) technology. The duration can be up to 7 months.

Requirements:
- The successful candidate should have completed their Bachelor's degree in Electronic engineering. or equivalent and be enrolled in an MS or Ph D programme.
- The student must have completed course work and show good understanding of wireless systems including analogue/RF, digital and communications theory
- Familiarity with semiconductor devices and Analogue/RF measurements is required.
- Familiarity with wireless communications protocols would be an advantage as would knowledge of Python.
- Good communicator with an eagerness to learn, solve problems, work on today’s most exciting wireless technology and make an impact. (and be part of something special)
Responsibilities may include:
- Gain experience and working knowledge of ultrawideband sub-systems, as well as analogue/mixed-signal and RF circuits.
- Gain experience working with ARM based embedded systems and System-on-a-chip (SOC) supporting cutting-edge UWB radio technology
- Learn about UWB radio and its utility to support data communications, and two-way ranging and other real time location systems (RTLS) use cases.
- Design novel experiments to support real-world comms, location and radar applications.
- Report and presentation at the end of the internship on the work performed.
