We are hiring for our client, an innovative leader in robotic and automation solutions, for the exciting role of Senior/Lead Mechatronic Engineer. This is a rare career opportunity for an experienced Mechatronics Engineer who will take the lead in developing cutting-edge automation technologies and mentoring a team of engineers. The Role:

Lead and guide the Mechatronic team in support of assigned automation projects.
Act as a mentor to the engineering team, ensuring adherence to processes and high standards of work.
Design and develop innovative automated equipment from concept to delivery.
Use Solid Works for 3D and 2D design and detailing.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of systems.
Handle technical documentation, project control, and customer communications.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

The Person:

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (8+ years).
5+ years' experience in Mechanical Design/Engineering, with responsibility for design sign-off, installation, and commissioning.
Proven experience with 3D design tools like Solid Works.
Strong leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
A team player with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Full UK Driver's License required.
