Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer (Mid/Senior)

The Role:

• Design and develop best-in-class electrical control panel solutions to support automation control systems across various industries using cutting-edge technologies.
• Develop 2D & 3D electrical designs for complex automation projects using EPlan or Auto CAD Electrical.
• Detail electrical schematics and processes for build.
• Generate budget and detailed quotations for panels and installations.
• Source electrical components for designs.
• Create test plans and documentation packs for developed electrical designs.
• Assist in electrical debug of systems.
• Liaise with customers and suppliers.
• Meet project delivery deadlines.

The Person:

• Third level qualification in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Science, or a qualified electrician with 3+ years of relevant industrial design experience.
• Familiarity with electrical controls, AC/DC motors, servo motors, inverters, general panel equipment, drives, and pneumatics.
• Experience using software packages such as Eplan P8, Eplan Pro Panel is essential.
• Knowledge and understanding of PLC programming and control methodologies.
• Knowledge of robotics, automation principles, and safety standards is a plus.
• Ambitious, confident, and professional individual with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Ability to take ownership of projects.
