About the Company: Tadhg O’Connor Ltd is one of Limerick’s largest retailers with a complete offering from foundations to furnishings. Established in 1977, this family run business now operates three stores in Co. Limerick, a builder’s providers in both Rathkeale and Newcastle West as well as a state of the art 30,000 square foot Electrical and Furniture showroom in Rathkeale. Employing almost 100 staff this business has grown from strength to strength over the years and is widely recognised as a great place to work. Recent expansion has seen the acquisition of Vokes Adare and the creation of a plant hire company in our Newcastle West branch.
ROLE SUMMARY: This is a full-time on-site role for a Furniture Salesperson at Tadhg O'Connor Ltd. in Rathkeale. The Furniture Salesperson will be responsible for retail sales, providing excellent customer service, showcasing product knowledge, stocktaking, and driving sales for the furniture department.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify customer needs and requirements to maximize sales whilst building and maintaining strong relationships with both customers and suppliers.
• Management of key accounts and execution of orders.
• Facilitate and drive sales within the store whilst trying to maximise margins.
• Meet or exceed sales targets as set by branch manager.
• Identify where improvements can be made to the business and action where possible.
• Efficient processing and follow-up of customer enquiries.

• Product Knowledge and Retail Sales skills
• Effective Communication and Customer Service skills
• Sales expertise
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills

PERSON PROFILE

• Highly organised, energetic, enthusiastic person with attention to detail when performing tasks, ability to anticipate and manage problems with ability to prioritize and escalate where necessary.
• Excellent communications skills including verbal, written and presentation
