Clongowes Wood College SJ is one of Ireland’s oldest and most successful 7-day boarding schools for boys, situated 35km west of Dublin, in Co. Kildare.
SCHOOL NURSE ( Permanent Part time Contract )
For an immediate start
We are looking for an experienced nurse to work as part of a 6-person team, managing the day-to-day medical needs of our busy school population. The successful applicant will work both independently and as part of a team, interacting with, parents, college staff and pupils Duties include running daily clinics, liaising with outside medical teams, organising medical appointments and transport, record and account keeping and promotion of a Health Education Programme within the college.
The successful applicant will ideally have a general nursing qualification and have experience working with young people in an independent capacity. This is a permanent ( Term Time) part time role. It is expected that the nursing team will work an average of 28 hours a week during term time only ( 12 hour Shifts)
