Job Description
AWM has an exciting opportunity for a Sales / Business Development Executive. The role holder will report into the Sales/Marketing Manager. Primarily a field-based role, the purpose of the role is to drive sales to both new and exiting customers in new and existing markets at home and abroad and where necessary undertake market research to underpin our approach. The position ideally will be based in Westport.
Job role & responsibilities
Maximise sales to existing accounts.
Develop and maximise sales to new accounts in domestic and export markets.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
Provide customers with all necessary information, promotion and support using both traditional and digital methods.
Customer visits as necessary to optimise sales.
Attendance and management of exhibitions.
Provide management with reports and feedback as required by the company
Liaise with Customer Service Office and other departments as needed.
Ownership and accountability for your role is vital
Assist with other duties when business needs arise
Skills required
Min. 5 years sales / marketing experience with consumer products/brands ideally in similar or related industry.
Degree or equivalent in a Sales /Marketing/ Business discipline.
Strong effective communicator both written, oral and digitally.
A strong team player but equally capable of working on own initiative.
Flexibility as the role requires.
Familiarity and exposure to digital marketing tools.
Process driven, attention to detail, planning and organisational skills
Full, clean Driver's Licence.
Fluent in English (oral and written)
