Quality Assurance Engineer - R&D
Xerotech Ltd are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer -R&D to join our fast-growing team and support our R&D department.

In this role you’ll get to:

Responsible for the implementation and improvement of the R&D QMS based on Automotive Quality principles and ensuring strong linkages to NPI and Operations.
Ensure Gateway & Milestones reviews are completed and deliverables complied with.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure industry standard requirements, safety requirements, and customer requirements are captured and complied with.
Creating company standards and processes and ensuring R&D compliance of quality systems, internal processes, procedures, and applicable standards / regulations
Implement and manage the process software systems used within the R&D team and ensure links to corporate systems (Wrike/Jira/DOORS/Salesforce, etc.)
Ensure issues are correctly logged by the R&D team and are closed on time.
Deliver clear reports to the management team using concise metrics from the process software systems such as “issues throughput” and “severity”
Take responsibility for the DFMEA process and meetings to ensure risks are captured and appropriate actions are identified and implemented.
Support the PFMEA process and ensure the DFMEA actions are captured and implemented
Lead 8D root cause analysis with the team
Support, coach and facilitate in the application of these processes in all projects, both internal and customer specific.
Evaluate and report on the quality status of all projects, and where necessary, define and assist in tracking corrective actions
Capture and analyse test data to identify opportunities for standardisation and improvement

To excel you will need:

A Level 8 (Graduate) Degree in a relevant Quality/Engineering/Science related discipline.
Experience in Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical engineering background
Familiarity with ISO9001 and IATF16949 would be preferred
Experience with Wrike/Jira/Power BI would be advantageous
Good knowledge of Systems Engineering, Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis and Lean principles
