Pharmacy Counter/Dispensary Assistant
Gormley Pharmacy in Churchtown Dublin 14 are recruiting a motivated and experienced Pharmacy Counter/Dispensary Assistant to join our team 3 - 4 days per week. Rostered Monday - Friday 9am-6pm and Saturday 9.30am -1.30pm

Pay: €11.37-€15.26 per hour

Responsibilities for this position include:
- Providing efficient, friendly and reliable pharmacy OTC advice with a focus on customer service
- Providing support to Pharmacist & other staff in a busy environment
- Assist in the prescription dispensing process with a high level of accuracy
- Assisting with the end of month paperwork & HSE electronic submission of claims and other admin duties
- Stocking and placing orders for Dispensary & front of shop
- Excellent communication skills and competency in using Pharmacy software system
- Maintaining a clean and efficient workspace
- Excellent communication, organisation & interpersonal skills.
- Positive friendly attitude and ability to work on your own initiative as well as within a team
- Approachable and friendly with a passion to deliver outstanding patient care
- Confident advising on OTC medicines and working in the Dispensary
- Preferably have completed or working towards completion of Medicine Counter Assistant/Pharmacy Assistant course
- Good work ethic, motivated, customer centred
- Minimum I year pharmacy experience in Irish pharmacy system
- Leaving certificate education with excellent numeracy & computer skills and good knowledge of Microsoft applications
- Dispensary experience
- Knowledge of Mc Lernons MPS / Dispensesense system
