Lead Technican - Wind Turbines

We're looking for an experienced Lead Wind Turbine Technician in the Cavan/Leitrim area. GE, Vestas, Enercon or Vestas experience desireable.

What you will do:

Lead team(s) in the day to day operation & maintenance of dedicated wind farms
Plan & execute works in conjunction with operations team & customer
Plan and manage retrofit works with operations team & customer
Complete snagging & reporting accurately
Act in a safe and responsible manner at all times.
Service, maintain and repair wind turbines and ancillary components.
Complete inventory checks and be responsible for ensuring materials needed are on site.

Candidates should:

Have worked as a wind turbine technician for a minimum of 2 years, with demonstrated fault finding competence
Have a desire to lead teams and manage a wind farm or number of wind farms
Be qualified as an electrician/electrical-mechanical technician
Hold full clean driving licence
A good understanding of the application and use of safe systems of work, including working in accordance with Wind Turbine Safety Rules
