Key Holder Sales Assistant

We are seeking 1 x Keyholder Sales Assistant (18Hours) to join a relaxed and friendly team in our Kildare Store. Full time positions available providing great benefits: Being part of a premium technical apparel brand, competitive salary, product training will be provided and generous staff discount and uniform allowance.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Working as part of the sales team to maximise sales by providing excellent customer service in a clean, tidy and well-merchandised store.

To ensure the smooth operation of the store, maintain the standards of the store and achieve sales targets by:
- Keeping displays and the shop floor clean and tidy at all times.
- Operating the till and accurately handling cash, cheque and card transactions.
- Cashing up and banking accurately in accordance with Finance procedures.
- Assist in changing displays in accordance with visual merchandising guidelines.
- Receiving deliveries, unpacking stock to replenish the shop floor or stock room.
- Assist with stock take activity (this may need to occur out of normal trading hours)
- Be vigilant at all times to minimise stock loss or fraudulent transactions.
- Assisting customers in store, providing exceptional customer service.
- Experience in retail clothing store-based role (Essential)
- Have a good understanding of what constitutes great customer service
- Be aware of common retail Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Be driven to seek continuous improvement and be the best in the business
- Take pride in everything they do and be keen to work to consistently high standards
- Be familiar with word processing and spreadsheet software (e.g. Microsoft Word and Excel)
- An interest in sports and/or outdoor pursuits would be beneficial but not necessary.
